These are photos of my daughter's amethyst find yesterday while walking the bay of fundy shore. She was so excited in finding such a large piece with deep deep purple crystals . What a mother and daughter moment to share as we were walking side by side when she looked down and there is was just glistening in the sun !

Can you tell me how do you spot (identify) an agate from all those that are look-alike?
