Cool Rocks

While walking on the beach in Halls' Harbour I found these cool rock formations in the rocks . The Fundy shore is great for rock hunting , my daughter and I are always looking for a rock treasure on the beach !

Jana's Amethyst Find

These are photos of my daughter's amethyst find yesterday while walking the bay of fundy shore. She was so excited in finding such a large piece with  deep  deep purple crystals . What a mother and daughter moment to share as we were walking side by side when she looked down and there is was just glistening in the sun !

Cool Agate

I thought this was a very interesting  large cool piece of agate that  I stumbled upon while walking the shore near Baxter's Harbour !

Today , late this afternoon Jana and I were exploring the shores of the Fundy when Jana discovered this fossil . We were both very excited to find a true Bay of Fundy treasure !!!!!

Crystals in the Rocks

These are photos of rock crystals that I have found embedded in the rocky cliffs along the shore of the Fundy in the last couple of days while hiking .

Weird rock formation!

 Clouds reflecting on a small pool of water near the shoreline of the Fundy.

Just loved how the sun was reflecting on the different shades and sizes of the rocks....

Large Piece of Amethyst

This is a photo of the largest piece of amethyst I ever found on the Bay of Fundy shore . It was hidden under a rock face where the tide had covered it with rocks and gravel with only a small amount of the bumpy white bottom appearing in the sunlight !

Amethyst

My daughter and I went for a 2 mile beach walk the other day and had our best rock hunting adventure yet , we found over 10 pieces of amethyst , beach glass as well as agate . The Bay of Fundy shore holds many treasures to explore.The 2 large pieces in this photo was the size of our fist , we where both very excited to find them , a true mother and daughter moment to treasure !!!!!

Polished Rocks

My daughter and I have been spending a lot of time at the beach lately collecting rocks , driftwood and taking photos . These are some of the rocks that we had tumbled , I love how the agate and jasper turned out !!!!

Went to the beach again today and my daughter and I found these pieces of agate . I love to search the shores of the Fundy for rocks and rock formations , I consider them treasures from the Bay !!!!!

Face in the Stone

As I was walking along the shores of the Fundy I took this photo ,my eye caught it right off. At first I thought it was a monkey ,but later looked at it and saw a dog . The coastline along the Bay of fundy has unique rock formations !
