Visit From A Dragonfly

This was an amazing photo to take because it is hard to capture a dragonfly as they are always in a hurry. This one stopped for a quick visit on my arm , I was lucky enough to have my camera in my hands as it stopped just long enough to get it's picture taken before it buzzzzed off..... You just have to love Mother Nature !!!!!!

Cape Blomidon

I was at Cape Blomidon yesterday hiking when I took this photo. Cape Blomidon is on the Minas Basin shore and I just had to share this photo because I believe that Nova Scotia is a beautiful province with many natural treasures.

F.B.G. 1954 on Kingsport Beach , Nova Scotia

On the Rocks: Shipwrecks of Nova Scotia - Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Halifax, Nova Scotia

"Named after her owners, Fred Green and Boyd Gibson, this was the last working coastal schooner built in Nova Scotia. She was destroyed by Hurricane Edna. Her shattered hull was carefully studied by historians as an example of wooden shipbuilding in Nova Scotia.

Daffodil Poem

"I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
~William Wordsworth, 'I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud,' 1804"
