Deer At Dusk

This is a sure sign of Spring to see deer coming out to feed in a open field . Ignore the background noise in this video , it was my blinker that I forgot to shut off. I did not want to miss the deer.

This is an image from the Digby web cam ,I had to  post  this because it is full tide and the clouds are reflecting on the Bay. We have had snow on and off here most of the day so we are not going to have the clouds reflecting like Digby has.

Higher than normal tides are expected along the Fundy coast tonight thanks to the "super moon".


The moon will be closer to earth than at any time since 1983 -- a mere 355,000 kilometres.

It will rise in the east tonight and appear 14% bigger and 30% brighter than usual.

Small Relaxing Waterfall

This is a small waterfall that is located in the woods in Baxter's Harbour.With my new camera I am able to zoom in and out while taking a video .

My daughter and I yesterday decided to go and explore the harbour , visiting 3 waterfalls .There is beauty in the changing of the seasons.

Rainy Dog Walk On The Beach

It has been raining in the harbour for the past 2 days combined with the Spring run off ,the waterfalls are spectacular . The waterfalls are so nice to watch but it is the roar of the falling water I love .

Spring Is Near [March 07 2011]

My daughter and I was down to the harbour today and was surprised to find that most of the ice was gone from the waterfall. You can feel Spring in the Bay breeze and see that the ice is disappearing from the falls and the cliffs for another winter season .

Glimpse Of Sunrays at Sunset

The snow is quickly melting with all the rain and mild temp. we have had in the last 2 days , so I was surprised to catch a glimpse of some sunrays at sunset as it only lasted for a few minutes tonight .What a spectacular sight.
